Title: Small Batch Cauliflower au Gratin

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Cut up the cauliflower. Thaw the corn in the microwave and drain, or if canned simply rinse and drain. Mince the garlic.

In a steamer or the microwave, cook the cauliflower until tender. Set aside.

In a large, deep saucepan, melt the butter. Add the garlic and lightly sautee 1 minute .Stir in the flour, salt, and cayenne pepper.

Gradually add the milk,s tirring constnatly, until the sauce boils and thickens. Adjust seasonings.

Stir in 3/4 of the cheese, all of the corn, and some fresh parsley.

Arrange the cauliflower in a shallow baking dish. Cover with sauce and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Bake until top is lightly browned and bubbling, about 30 minutes.
